With new figures revealing that car insurance premiums have gone up another 11% on average, a new handy website has been developed to tackle vehicle theft and keep claims down.
Named Park Smart, the website and app allows anyone to type their postcode in and see how many vehicles thefts have been reported within the last 6 months.
With over 800,000 reports of vehicle theft last year alone, Park Smart has also offered advice on how to keep your car safe, including:
- Drive forwards into your driveway to slow down a potential getaway;
- Place keys away from any windows and doors;
- Remove marks showing your Sat Nav (and other expensive technology!) has been in the car previously.
